My Cup of Tea

Photo Workshop

Posted by: 7thstranger on: March 4, 2009

The six-day photography sessions I attended since February 13 (held every Tuesdays and Fridays) has come to an end last night. I had a great time attending the sessions and learning more about photography. The projects were also both a challenge and an enjoyment to do.

Our instructor is an old friend and an officemate way back when we both used to work in IT. He has then shifted careers from IT to film & photography.

The night ended with some snacks and drinks… a time to chit-chat and get to know each other in the class.

Luckily, I still have this Saturday to look forward to. I’ll be attending a half-day Studio Lighting Workshop. Can’t wait! :)

About Me

If I can say it all in words, then there would be no reason for me to do my art!

I Quote…

"Spending time in solitude with your artist child is essential to self-nurturing. A long country walk, a solitary expedition to the beach for a sunrise or sunset, a sortie out to a strange church to hear gospel music, to an ethic neighborhood to taste foreign sights and sounds - your artist might enjoy any of these. Or your artist might like bowling." - Julia Cameron, The Artist's Way
